Monitoring of bird crime committed against the Imperial Eagle and other birds of prey
MME, in collaboration with national park directorates and other non-governmental organizations, has been collecting and systematizing the data relating to the dead birds and the circumstances of the offences since 2007 following the first wave of poisoning of Imperial Eagles. The database of the dead birds, serving the aim of being more complete than before, is managed by the HELICON LIFE+ programme between 2012-2016.
